The Center began making fresh donuts on Thursdays in 1983-that’s over 40 years of deliciousness!

In 1983, the donut choices were plain, plain sugared, and powdered sugar. Needless to say, we’ve come a long way!

Now our customers have a multitude of toppings to choose from on white, chocolate, or blueberry donuts, including German Chocolate, White or Chocolate Frosted with Sprinkles, Peanut Butter, Maple, Cream Cheese, Cream Cheese dipped in Chocolate, and more. There’s also always something new and yummy being offered for the Donut of the Month or in honor of special holidays.

The Center’s cake donuts are made fresh every Thursday morning, except on major holidays that land on a Thursday. For 2025, there will not be donuts the week of Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year’s Day.

We’d also love to make donuts for your special event or company picnic! Call us at the Admin Office and ask for Trina for more information.

To ensure you have donuts to enjoy on Thursday, we highly recommend that you pre-order your donuts by 4 pm on Wednesdays. Use the ordering form below or call The Center at 218*829*9345. Pick up is as early as 6:00 am on Donut Thursday at 803 Kingwood Street in our Great Room.

How Much Are Donuts?

Great question! A half dozen is $5 and a full dozen $10.

You won’t find a better cake donut anywhere! We enjoy serving the Brainerd-Baxter Lakes area on Thursdays!

You can now pre-order and pay for your donuts online. Online donut orders received after 4 pm on Wednesday will not be processed until the following week.
