CWC Outstanding Senior Volunteer

The Center is coordinating Crow Wing County’s Outstanding Senior Volunteer of the Year Award, and we are asking for your help in identifying deserving candidates.

Every year, extraordinary seniors quietly give their time, talents, and heart to strengthen our county, and we want to celebrate them. This award recognizes those individuals whose volunteer efforts make a meaningful difference in our community.

Please review the enclosed information and consider nominating a senior volunteer, age 70 +, from your organization. We encourage you to speak with the individual beforehand, as many dedicated volunteers are modest about their service.

Award recipients will be honored at:

  • The Center’s Picnic
  • The Crow Wing County Fair Senior Day
  • The Distinguished Service Awards Banquet

The 2026 award winners will be announced at The Center’s Picnic on July 21, 2026.

We hope to receive nominations that reflect the strong spirit of volunteerism throughout Crow Wing County. Thank you for helping us recognize and celebrate the seniors who strengthen our community.

Nominations will be accepted for both a female and a male recipient, and the nominee must be 70 years of age or older.

The submission deadline is Friday, May 29, 2026.

Award recipients will be announced at The Center’s Picnic on Tuesday, July 21, 2026.

Please provide as much detail as possible about the nominee’s volunteer service and community involvement. You are welcome to discuss the nomination with the individual, and they may assist in gathering information about their volunteer activities. You are welcome to include up to three letters of recommendation for your nominee.
