The Center offers its members 50+ activities and reasons to connect every week. Even if you are an introvert, stop by to shoot a game of pool, learn how to play mahjong, or listen to live music on Thursdays. OUR BRAT SALES HAVE MOVED TO A NEW DAY!

In August, our Brat Sale fundraiser will occur every Wednesday from 11:30-1:00. Enjoy a fresh brat on the grill with chips for only $6.00. All proceeds benefit The Center.

On August 5th, Brittney will be in our lobby from offering free blood pressure checks from 10:00-10:30 a.m. Everyone is welcome and no sign up needed.

County Coffee Talk-Land Services (Parks and Forestry)

Join us in the Great Room from 9:30–10:15 a.m. to learn more about the county we call home. This month, representatives from the Cand Services (Parks and Forestry) will be here to share about their role in our community and answer your questions. Everyone is welcome and no sign up needed.

Time: 5:00 -6:00 PM

Menu: Beef Enchilada Casserole, Spanish Rice, Corn, Croissant, Dessert

Entertainment: Dr. Kristy Lelcu from Northstar Family Medicine will be sharing facts about osteoporosis, information about the clinic, and encouraging a question-and-answer session.

Cost is $10 per person, and tickets are located at the front desk. Ticket deadline is August 7th at noon.

Learn More About Advanced Care Planning on August 19th

Hannah Jude and Ashley Gage from Crow Wing Energized will be in our Great Room on 8/19/26 at 10:00 a.m. to share facts and tips about Advanced care Planning for Seniors. Free and open to the public.

An August Lunch and Learn

Lunch and Learn with The Brainerd Public Library! Join us on August 28th from 12:00-1:00 PM for an hour of great information about a valuable asset in our community: The Brainerd Public Library. Director April Ristau will be on hand to discuss the many resources our library offers. Tickets are $5 per person, and the cost includes a light lunch. Tickets can be purchased at our front desk, and the deadline is August 25th.

Tech Help for Seniors

April Ristau from the Brainerd Public Library will be offering a FREE Tech Class for Seniors in the Card Room on Wednesday, August 26, from 9:30–10:30 a.m.

Discover the basics of using your iPhone in this beginner-friendly class! You’ll learn about Apple IDs, how to navigate the App Store, send and receive text messages, scan QR codes, customize your settings, and explore other essential iPhone features.

Whether you’re brand new to the iPhone or simply want to feel more confident using it, this free class is a great place to get started. LIMIT 15 PEOPLE. Sign up is at the Front Desk.

We are proud to provide members and visitors alike with opportunities for fun, friendship, learning, and active engagement in a welcoming environment.

Annual membership is $25, which gives access to the full range of Center events, services, classes and groupsvolunteer opportunities, and DONUTS!
