Did you know that The Center began making fresh donuts on Thursdays in 1983?

That’s over 40 years of deliciousness!

In 1983, the donut choices were plain, plain sugared, and powdered sugar. Needless to say, we’ve come a long way!

Now our customers have a multitude of toppings to choose from on white, chocolate, or blueberry donuts, including German Chocolate, White or Chocolate Frosted with Sprinkles, Peanut Butter, Maple, Cream Cheese, Cream Cheese dipped in Chocolate, and more. There’s also always something new and yummy being offered for the Donut of the Month or in honor of special holidays.

We have discovered over the years that people are very curious about why our donuts are so darn good. We joke that The Center’s donuts are “famous,” because in our minds, they are!

Donut FAQs

Q: Are The Center’s donuts made fresh on Thursdays?

A: Yes! Our Kitchen Manager, Chris, and his donut crew begin making donuts around midnight, so they are fresh, frosted, decorated, and ready to be enjoyed as early as 6:00 a.m.

 

Q: Is it possible to order donuts for a big event like a wedding, family reunion, or company picnic?

A: Yes! The Center can and will create large orders for special events. Contact The Center staff for more information before placing an order. NOTE: Special order donuts are limited to the frostings and toppings we already have on hand.

 

Q: How can I, or my business, volunteer for the Thursday donut crew?

A: Volunteerism is an excellent way to give back to your community, and The Center is always looking for more donut crew members. Call or stop by The Center, and one of our staff members will be happy to discuss this with you and your team.

 

Q: Can an individual or business request a reoccurring donut order to be ready every Thursday?

A: Yes! In fact, we highly recommend that. Because we run out of donuts so quickly on Thursdays, we advise our regular customers to order ahead and have their donuts reserved and ready for them. We will hold pre-paid orders

 

Q: How can I request the “fancy” donuts or The Donut of The Month.

A: Customers can request specific donuts on their ordering forms, but some of the cutest and uniquely decorated ones are available only in the Donut Line.
